I must match art types with walking.
Example: the use of a walk to a sound artist might be the recording of sound.
The use of a walk to a writer might be the documentation of a town in the present, or research, architectural clues. Fiction likes effort and authenticity in responsible doses.

I have emailed the author Helen Scalway asking for references. I am ordering a book of famous people talking about walking. But are they academics? Are they reliable and respectable knowledge givers? Are they mere humans with words coming out of them? Bollocks to this most pompous of intellectual pursuits. I enjoy the effortless life of the philistine once more.
